Returning to the songs
that stayed.

Kings of Stone is the music of Radek Fast - a return to the songs, fragments and demos that lived quietly in the background for years, finally given the time, the tools, and the voice to be finished.

Songs That Were Waiting
to Be Finished

Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father was a musician, and from an early age I was drawn to songs, melody, lyrics, and that feeling music can create when it really connects.

When I was younger, I played in bands, played bass, sang constantly, and always had melodies, fragments, and ideas living somewhere in the background. Some were old demos, some were half-finished songs, and some were simply things that stayed in my head for years.

A lot of what shaped me came from the music I grew up on - The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and other bands whose songs felt timeless, expressive, and full of meaning. I also studied literature, so words have always mattered to me just as much as melody. For me, a song should carry a feeling, say something honest, and leave something behind.

For a long time, I never expected I’d come back to those ideas in a serious way. But technology changed that. Suddenly it became possible to plug in a guitar, sing into a microphone, record straight into a computer, and, with the help of modern creative AI technologies, bring old ideas, demos, and half-finished songs to life in a way that once felt impossible. Tools like Ableton have also made it possible to shape, produce, refine, and master those songs into something complete.

That’s what this project is about: returning to something that was always there and finally giving it a voice. These songs come from a lifelong love of music, words, and melody. And if these songs resonate with someone else too, then that makes the journey even more meaningful.

Returning to something
that was always there -
and finally giving it
a voice.

Lines that stay

Words that hit hard.

Dreams are drifting in the air Moments vanish, still they’re there Voices linger, summer haze Turning hours into days Follow the sound Follow the sound Chasing a song That can’t be found
Follow the Sound
Follow the Sound
Maybe this is all we get Maybe this is it Maybe life is happening In every little bit Maybe there’s no open door No great reveal Maybe it’s the step we take That makes it real
Is it here, is it now?
Is it here, is it now?
Don’t lose your hands Trying to hold What slips like sand Or turns to stone Let your heart break If it must break That’s how it learns What love can take
What Love Can Take
Is It Here, Is It Now?
